Non-Discrimination Policy

Maestro College is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in employment and education opportunity. No person shall be discriminated against in the terms and conditions of employment, personnel practices, or access to and participation in education programs, services, and activities with regard to race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, or sexual orientation or membership or activity in a local commission as defined by state and federal law, as applicable.

Harassment, including Sexual Harassment as defined by Title IX (Sexual Harassment – As Defined by Title IX), of an individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, or sexual orientation, or membership or activity in a local commission has no place in a learning or work environment and is prohibited. In accordance with Title IX provisions, every effort will be made to ensure that all members of the college community are provided an atmosphere free from sexual discrimination and sexual harassment. Policies and procedures with respect to reporting sexual harassment are outlined in the school’s annual security reports.

Training Materials for Title IX Personnel

In accordance with Title IX regulations, Maestro College maintains and makes available the training materials used to train its Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process. These materials include instruction on the current Title IX regulations, as well as facts, overview, and summary training on the College’s obligations under Title IX.
